Hanger Bolts
Product Information
Product Overview
Hanger Bolts are double-ended fasteners with wood screw threads on one end and machine screw threads on the other. The headless design allows the fastener to be installed into a wooden component while leaving a machine-threaded section exposed for attaching nuts, threaded fittings, brackets, furniture hardware, or other components. They are also commonly described as double-ended screws or wood-to-machine thread screws.
These fasteners are commonly used in furniture manufacturing and woodworking applications, particularly for attaching table legs, chair legs, cabinet components, furniture fittings, mounting hardware, and other assemblies where a threaded connection is required between wood and metal hardware. The two different thread sections allow a single fastener to connect directly into wood while providing a machine-threaded connection for the mating component.
Hanger bolts are available in different diameters, overall lengths, thread lengths, materials, and surface finishes to accommodate different furniture designs and assembly requirements. Metric and inch thread configurations can be specified according to the intended application and mating hardware. For furniture manufacturers, hardware distributors, woodworking suppliers, and OEM buyers, accurate specifications are important to ensure compatibility with the wooden component and the corresponding nut or threaded fitting.
The product can be supplied in standard configurations as well as customized dimensions according to specific application requirements. Custom options may include overall length, wood-thread length, machine-thread length, thread configuration, material, and surface finish.
