Wedge Anchors
Product Information
Product Overview
Wedge Anchors are mechanical expansion anchors used to secure fixtures and structural components to concrete. They are commonly known as concrete wedge anchors or wedge expansion anchors. The assembly typically consists of a threaded anchor body, expansion clip, nut, and washer. Unlike concrete screws, wedge anchors rely on mechanical expansion within a drilled hole and are normally used where a fixed anchorage point is required.
Wedge anchors are commonly used for attaching steel base plates, equipment supports, structural brackets, storage racks, railings, pipe supports, cable trays, sprinkler systems, barriers, and other fixtures to concrete. They are available in different diameters, lengths, thread configurations, and material or corrosion-protection options to match the base material, fixture thickness, load requirements, and service environment.
