Confirmat Screws
Product Information
Product Overview
Confirmat screws are specialized furniture fasteners used to join wood-based panels in cabinet, furniture and knock-down assembly. They are commonly used with particleboard, MDF and similar engineered-wood materials, where their relatively large diameter, deep thread profile and countersunk head help form a rigid panel-to-panel connection. The product is also commonly referred to as a furniture screw or cabinet connecting screw.
Confirmat screws are particularly suited to butt joints in furniture carcasses, cabinets, shelving, drawers and ready-to-assemble furniture. Their geometry is intended for use with prepared holes, allowing the screw body and threaded section to engage the adjoining panel effectively. The countersunk head seats into the panel surface, while the coarse furniture-screw thread provides substantial engagement in engineered wood materials.
Drive configurations vary by product specification. Common options include Phillips or Pozidriv recesses, hex socket drives and Torx recesses. Common sizes include approximately 5 mm, 6.3 mm and 7 mm diameters, with lengths selected according to panel thickness and joint configuration. Carbon steel is widely used, while zinc-plated, black oxide and other finishes are available depending on the intended application and purchasing specification.
For furniture manufacturers, cabinet suppliers and distributors, Confirmat screws are commonly purchased in standardized diameter and length combinations for repeatable production. ChinaBolts can support bulk sourcing, different drive configurations, surface finishes and packaging requirements according to project or purchasing specifications.
