Blue Flat-Head Phillips Concrete Screw Anchors
Product Information
Product Overview
Blue flat-head Phillips concrete screw anchors, also called blue concrete screws or Phillips flat-head masonry screw anchors, are screw-type fasteners for attaching fixtures to concrete, brick, and masonry block. Their countersunk heads are intended to sit flush with a matching countersunk opening, giving a lower-profile finish than hex washer-head concrete screws.
The Phillips recess identifies the drive interface, while the screw’s formed threads engage the drilled base material directly. Unlike wedge or sleeve anchors, this type does not require a separate expansion sleeve or plug. Common applications include mounting brackets, door and window frames, electrical boxes, signage, decorative trim, and cable supports in light- to medium-duty fastening.
Selection depends on the substrate type and condition, anchor diameter and length, required embedment, specified hole dimensions, fixture thickness, and the product’s published load data. The blue appearance alone does not establish a particular coating chemistry or corrosion rating, so suitability for exterior or corrosive environments should be confirmed against the specific product specification.
